Position Title: Travel Surgical Technologist

Travel Pay Range: $38–$42/hour
Required: Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist | Proficiency in Orthopedic & Spine cases | BLS (AHA)
Position Summary"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Surgical Technologist for an exciting job in Cincinnati, OH.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile equipment before each procedure.
Verify surgical preference cards and obtain required instruments, sutures, and physician-requested items.
Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures, ensuring compliance with aseptic standards.
Assist surgeons by passing instruments, holding retractors, suctioning, and cutting sutures as directed.
Support circulating nurses as needed during surgical procedures.
Handle, clean, and send instruments for sterilization post-procedure.
Maintain accurate instrument and supply counts for patient safety.
Assist in patient preparation, site cleansing, and dressing application.
Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication with the surgical team.
Participate in continuing education and maintain competency with emerging surgical techniques.
Uphold patient dignity, confidentiality, and safety in all aspects of care.
Adhere to hospital safety regulations and infection control standards.
Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Surgical Technologist
Specialty Expertise: Orthopedic and Spine surgery (required)
Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or 3 years of recent hands-on experience
Certification: BLS (AHA required)
Preferred: CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) certification
