Job Description

Position: Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Boston Speech Therapy, a woman and speech therapist-owned organization, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and assist in providing therapeutic services to individuals with communication disorders. This position is for PreK- 5th grade caseload! 35-37 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Speech Language Pathologist in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Implement and carry out therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs.
• Monitor and document progress of clients during therapy sessions and report findings to the supervising SLP.
• Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively with students,families, and educators.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Current state certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different therapeutic approaches.
