Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
At least 5 years of experience in Crane Engineering
Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Beckhoff, or B&R control systems
RIA Expert Certification
SolidWorks experience
ROBOGUIDE experience
Collaborate with Sales and Mechanical Design Engineers during the sales cycle to develop crane concepts and designs, including end-of-arm tooling, fixtures, conveyance systems, safety equipment, and other crane components
Gain a clear understanding of scope and schedule from the project manager, customer, and project team
Perform crane setup from system defaults
Configure and use tool data, frame data, and TCP
Integrate and calibrate vision systems on crane tooling and fixed cameras, including use of vision tools and calibration procedures
Implement crane systems during staging at the integration facility
Responsible for successful onsite startup at the customer location
Travel for this position is estimated at 20–25% .
