Akkodis is seeking a Scrum Master for a Contract with a client in Hartford, CT. You will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring adherence to SAFe and Scrum principles for successful project delivery.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $42/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Scrum Master job responsibilities include:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure team alignment and delivery.
Coach and guide teams on Agile principles, SAFe framework, and best practices to improve efficiency and collaboration.
Manage and track progress using Azure DevOps Boards, ensuring transparency and timely updates on sprint goals and deliverables.
Identify and remove impediments to maintain smooth workflow and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and align with business objectives.
Monitor team performance metrics and provide actionable insights to enhance productivity and quality.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8–10 years of experience in Agile project management and Scrum Master roles.
Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, SAFe framework, and Kanban practices with hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps Boards for backlog management, sprint planning, and progress tracking.
