Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Scrum Master for a Contract with a client in Hartford, CT. You will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring adherence to SAFe and Scrum principles for successful project delivery.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $42/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Scrum Master job responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure team alignment and delivery.

  • Coach and guide teams on Agile principles, SAFe framework, and best practices to improve efficiency and collaboration.

  • Manage and track progress using Azure DevOps Boards, ensuring transparency and timely updates on sprint goals and deliverables.

  • Identify and remove impediments to maintain smooth workflow and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and align with business objectives.

  • Monitor team performance metrics and provide actionable insights to enhance productivity and quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8–10 years of experience in Agile project management and Scrum Master roles.

  • Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, SAFe framework, and Kanban practices with hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.

  • Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps Boards for backlog management, sprint planning, and progress tracking.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $42.00 per hour
