ROOFING HELPERS, Eagle County, CO: The Roofing Helper is responsible for assisting roofers during the application or repair of roofing materials.
Unload materials, cleans off the roof, assists roofers by preparing and handling roofing materials, and cleans the site after the job is complete.
They will measure materials.
Clear debris from the roof.
Help waterproof roofs.
Scrape or pull off old roofing material.
Properly equip all roofer with safety equipment, scaffolding, and hoists.
Climb ladders and get on top of roofs to provide assistance to roofers;
ie: bring materials up or throw materials into the trash.
Unroll roofing material and ensure that the correct quantity and type of material have been delivered to the site.
Gather tools, resources, equipment, and materials required for each roofing project, and bring them to the workspace.
The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job . Five (5) days per week, forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday. The typical work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Five (5) temporary, full-time Roofing Helper positions available. Period of intended employment is 04/01/2026 to 12/01/2026. $25.82 per hour. Overtime may be available and will be paid at $38.73 per hour. No education or job experience needed. Work will be performed in Eagle County, Colorado. Workers will be provided daily transportation in company trucks from housing locations to worksites. Employer will facilitate optional rental housing to employees. Rent will not be automatically deducted from pay. Rates will be determined by the property manager of the location being rented. Employer will not directly rent lodging to employees but rather facilitate the location of lodging and payment of rents.
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths (3/4) of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Wages will be paid on a weekly basis, and the employer uses a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law; no other deductions will be taken by the employer.
The employer will reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the U.S. government, except passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period , the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and daily subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of employment , consistent with 20 C.F.R. 655.20(j)(1)(i). Upon completion of the work contract, or if the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and daily subsistence to the place the worker departed to work for the employer , unless the worker will not return due to continuing employment with another H-2B employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will equal the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.

On-the-job training will be provided. Travel is required in company trucks from the company's headquarters in Gypsum, Colorado to worksite locations in Eagle County, Colorado.
