Schedule: 5×8-hour shifts
Pay Range (Local): $58–$62/hour

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care during night shifts. As a key member of the interdisciplinary hospice care team, the RN will deliver skilled nursing services, symptom management, and emotional support to patients and families in both home and facility-based settings, in accordance with hospice philosophy and professional standards.
Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and patient case conferences as required
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and respond promptly to changes in condition
Deliver effective pain and symptom management to ensure patient comfort and quality of life
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, physicians, caregivers, and team members
Provide compassionate, individualized care aligned with hospice principles
Notify appropriate providers of significant clinical changes
Complete patient admissions and ensure timely, accurate clinical documentation
Maintain clear narrative documentation reflecting skilled nursing care, patient education, and caregiver response
Obtain, clarify, and follow physician orders for all care provided
Ensure admission documentation is completed by 9:00 AM on the next business day
Adhere to professional nursing standards and organizational hospice policies
Educate patients, families, and facility staff regarding hospice services and scope of care
Implement and manage individualized Plans of Care in compliance with federal and state regulations
Supervise Hospice Aides at least every 14 days per regulatory guidelines
Assist with staff orientation and mentoring when requested
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Required:
Active and unrestricted Massachusetts RN license
Minimum 2 years of Hospice RN Case Management experience
Hospice home care experience
Successful completion of pre-employment medication competency assessment
Preferred:
IV Certification
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Strong computer and clinical documentation skills
