We looking for Physical Therapy Assistants in the Houston, TX area! As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility, manage pain, and improve overall physical function. You will assist in carrying out prescribed treatment plans for individuals with orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. Your role is essential in supporting patient progress and promoting long-term wellness through compassionate, hands-on care, and effective communication. Key Responsibilities: Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, ensuring proper technique and safety Observe and report patient responses to treatment, assisting in plan modifications as needed Provide education and instruction to patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of treatment sessions Support a team-based approach by communicating effectively with other healthcare staff Experience and Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience Graduate of an accredited PTA program with current Texas licensure Manual therapy training or advanced certification preferred Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff Able to think critically, solve problems, and work independently within scope of practice Demonstrates professionalism, ethical integrity, and a team-oriented mindset We are quickly reviewing applications and resumes.
