About the Position:
As a Paramedic, you will:
Provide advanced life support care to the sick and injured.
Safely transport patients of all ages to medical facilities.
Assist with other services and events as directed.
$4500 Sign-on Bonus!
This position is eligible for a generous sign-on bonus! (Current team members or former team members employed within the last six months are not eligible). Repayment is required if the commitment is not fulfilled.
What You'll Need:
Successfully completed paramedic training program from an accredited institution.
Associate of Science degree preferred.
Previous ambulance or advanced life support experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to organize, problem-solve, make decisions in emergencies, and work independently.
Knowledge of the street and highway system within the service area.
Licensure/Certification:
Ground Paramedic Requirements:
Current Minnesota or Wisconsin Paramedic Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification (or American Red Cross ALS and BLS Certification) upon hire or within 14 days.
Valid State Class D driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS Certification.
ICS-100, ICS-200, and ICS-700 (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
Air Care Paramedic Requirements:
Current Minnesota Paramedic Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
Current Wisconsin Paramedic Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
National Registered Paramedic.
American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification (or American Red Cross ALS and BLS Certification) upon hire or within 14 days.
Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C) within 12 months of hire.
American Heart Association and American Red Cross PALS Certification upon hire or within 14 days.
ICS-100, ICS-200, and ICS-700 (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire).
Maximum weight of 215 pounds in uniform.
Valid State Class D driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
