Our client is a growing investment advisory firm seeking a motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join their corporate finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in financial analysis and reporting.
You'll work alongside senior analysts to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling while gaining exposure to strategic decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process with data collection and analysis
- Build and maintain financial models in Excel
- Conduct variance analysis and identify key business trends
- Prepare presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders
- Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end close procedures
- Research industry benchmarks and competitive landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 0-1 years of experience in finance or accounting (internships count)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with financial statements and accounting principles
