Job Title: Junior Mechanical Engineer Job Description As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, working on the design, development, and testing of simulator products. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities + Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems for simulator products. + Conduct simulations and analyses to ensure the performance and reliability of designs. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to integrate mechanical designs into complete systems. + Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation processes. + Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. + Support the troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical issues during the development and testing phases. Essential Skills + Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and modeling. + Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices. + Experience in drafting and reading 3D blueprints. + Aerospace, internship experience, or project experience in panel design. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. + Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB) is a plus. Work Environment You will be working in a fast-paced, tight-knit environment with a team of 27 people on site. Our focus is on creating simulator product solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of aircraft products. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
