We are seeking an experienced **Graphic Designer** with a strong portfolio in **YouTube thumbnail design**, specifically for **news, commentary, and social media content**. You’ll work closely with our content and editorial team to create **scroll-stopping thumbnails** that boost CTR, viewer engagement, and overall brand consistency.
**You’ll be responsible for:**
### 🎨 Thumbnail Creation
* Design **daily/weekly thumbnails** for YouTube videos (news, politics, culture)
* Create **A/B variants** for testing
* Maintain high engagement goals (CTR optimization)
### 🧰 Brand & Asset Development
* Build **thumbnail templates**
* Design **channel branding assets** (Banners, End screens)
* Evolve style guidelines
### 🔁 Collaboration & Feedback
* Receive briefs and scripts from editors
* Implement revisions rapidly (same-day turnaround when necessary)
* Produce thumbnails aligned with trending topics
### 📊 Performance Focus
* Understand analytics relevance (CTR, watch time correlation)
* Suggest creative variations based on performance data
## 🧩 **Who You Are**
You have:
* 2+ years of graphic design experience (social or video thumbnail focused)
* Strong portfolio with **high-engagement thumbnails**
* Excellent typography, composition, and color theory skills
* Expertise in Photoshop/Canva/Illustrator
* Quick turnaround ability
* Strong English communication (written & spoken)
