Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Bachelor’s Degree student to join our Finance team as a Finance Intern to support our finance operations team in a range of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting operations and financial processes within a dynamic finance team in technology.

The internship will take place in our Singapore office and we expect a full-time internship period of at least 5 months. We offer flexible working hours and allow for remote work; however, the candidate will need to reside in Singapore for the duration of the internship.

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform bookkeeping entries for bank transactions
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Run prepaid amortization schedules and perform reconciliations
• Create fixed asset records and run depreciation calculations
• Process Coupa accruals, end-of-month accrual entries, and reclass entries
• Prepare and process ad hoc reclass entries as needed
• Complete month-end reconciliations and ensure timely closure
• Prepare ad hoc manual payments (including Autowealth, IRAS, tax clearance, and payroll)
• Reconcile payroll records and record payroll entries
• Prepare internal transfer manual payments

What we are looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Finance, Accounting or a similar technical field of study.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office skills and experience with accounting software (Netsuite, Coupa and Zip is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
