Position Summary

The successful candidate will need to possess excellent customer service skills. The DC has direct responsibility for successful interactions with customers, subcontractors and other key Government personnel. This position requires effective communication with the customers, as well as internal personnel. Data entry operator responsibilities include collecting and entering data and maintaining accurate records. Must have an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets. Previous experience as a Data Collector or similar position will be considered an advantage.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Observe equipment operations and maintenance and generate detailed logs or notes which accurately represent system performance within the scope of the weapon system test and prescribed data collections procedures
• Prepares source data for entry by compiling and organizing data
• Enters data by operating data entry equipment i.e. computers, tablets and other devices
• Verifies and balances data by reviewing; making corrections as needed
• Completes data management by sorting, batching and archiving files
• Prepares data results for further analysis by other team members
• Other duties, as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Suite and other software programs
• Comfortable with and able to communicate effectively
• Possess the ability to complete and deliver required work, with minimal supervision in a timely manner
• General knowledge of weapon system test and evaluation process
• Knowledge of weapons system operations and maintenance procedures
