Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: Neptune, NJ 07753
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: 5x8 Hour Days (Monday–Friday)
Hourly Rate: $21/hr - 23/hr
Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) perform a blend of clinical and administrative duties that support both patient care and day-to-day clinic operations. They work under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers and play a vital role in ensuring accurate documentation, efficient workflow, and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures
Record vital signs and document medical histories
Prepare patients and examination rooms
Administer medications and injections as directed
Perform routine lab procedures and basic phlebotomy
Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient communication, and updating electronic medical records
Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked
Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program
