Automotive Billing Clerk

Job Summary:

The Automotive Billing Clerk is responsible for accurately processing invoices, preparing billing statements, and maintaining financial records for all vehicle sales, parts/service sales, and related transactions. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in basic accounting principles. 

Responsibilities:

• Verify accuracy of billing information, including vehicle details, pricing, and customer information.
• Reconcile schedules as assigned.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Communicate with customers and other departments regarding billing inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with all dealership, state, and federal regulations related to billing and financial transactions. 
• Payroll & Commissions 

Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in automotive billing or accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience Reynolds & Reynolds software is preferred.
